My attempt to get a dip in the pool at Cleethorpe’s Leisure Centre this morning failed. I hadn’t checked and the pool is booked out for swimming lessons until 10:30. So I spent an hour or so in the Health Suite catching up with old friends and making some new ones. I had been advised not to use the sauna because that might not help the redness that I’m currently experiencing in my legs.

After the Leisure Centre I decided to consult a local pharmacist on the number of spots, like large freckles, that have now appeared on my chest. He advised me that I need to consult my doctor about this and I’ll do that on Monday morning.

I hope to have a restful afternoon, sitting on my recliner chair watching Coventry City play Sunderland. Perhaps today will bring about a much-needed win for The Sky Blues!
